Hi, I manage a site http://www.hartvanoosterhout.nl. The site shown overdue maintenance and I’m updating it now. The site uses the theme X-Sport version 1.5.3. I have found that there is no license purchased. That is why I have the last version purchased through my Envato account. I have tried to update the theme in a test environment. But thereby breaks the website. What can I do? Friendly greetings Bas Burger

We installed original version demo site and unfortunately were not able to reproduce this issue on your server . Unfortunately, our free support does not include an update of the already working site but you can order our paid service for this purpose . Thanks
I am disappointed about this. This is not what i hoped and asked for. I wanted to update the theme to the latest version. Not a demo version of you. You state that your free support does not include this. But i bought a new version of the theme with support (6 months).
I understand your disappointment and we spent a few hours before saying that , but unfortunately your version of the site is outdated and was released a year ago . It is also possible there are some incorrect settings of your site (we have updated your version to the latest version of the template on our side without any problems ) . Unfortunately, we cannot continue to investigate all the reasons .
I see another way to upgrade is to try to migrate your existing content to a new version and periodically upgrade your site in the future .
Thanks
Hi Alex,
I followed your suggestion.
I made a whole new site set up. New WordPress install and then the last version of your theme XSport installed and activated. The url of this site is https://www.bastiaanburger.nl/testxsport/ Then I have, of the site whose theme was to be updated (https://www.hartvanoosterhout.nl), all content exported. This I again imported into the new site. After exporting also the Rev. sliders from the old site and imported it into the new site and then have adapted the menu I have (almost) a up to date clone of the old site. However, there are still some things not as they should be. So I get to the part in which the Featured Icons are not visible on the updated site. See image “Achievementssection. png” of your demo site so you know what exactly I mean.
If I change the home page in the backend with Visual composer I do come on this part (see image “edit page ‹ TEST XSPORT THEME — WordPress .png”) but the whole row is not visible on the site. Can you please help me?

So sorry , but custom changes not included in free support . Unfortunately we have to follow these rules to provide quality support for all our customers . You can use our paid service to order this work or yellow pencil to do it yourself .
Thanks
