Here’s how I’m thinking of it, this feature is something that really is needed for any rental agency, prices fluctuate based on season etc so it’s really a necessary feature to be able to set pricing on a calendar for each vehicle.
We work on the island of Zakynthos, which is a very touristy place, we already have another rental company who wants us to set up a website for them so we’d purchase another copy of your theme if we can put this feature in there.
So, here are the specifications as far as I can explain now and let me know if you have any questions.
On the vehicle page in the admin where you set the price for each vehicle, that can stay the same but it would show in the front end as “from $40” for example, so we would input the lowest price in the admin.
Below that there has to be a calendar and a price entry, so I can choose for example start and end date, add a price and click on “add” and then it would register that price for the date range and let me add another one etc.
Those would not show specifically in the front end but when someone selects dates from the calendar next to the vehicle info (e.g. https://www.2and4wheelrentals.gr/autos/daytona-akita/) and clicks “book now” to go to the cart, they should see the appropriate price.
A point on this, if they choose for instance dates that cover two price ranges, on the cart in the Price column you can show “Variable” or “Mixed” or something like that.
Does this make sense?
Also, I don’t know if this can fit in the same implementation but it would be good to have a stock for each vehicle, like for example for someone to have 5 x hyundai i10 and not have to create a separate vehicle for each of them.

Total price will be shown in the shopping cart and not in the product card . If you want to dynamically change the price, then this is another job .

This is another job that is not included in our price .
That’s fine for the stock, it’s just that for the item price in the cart it might seem confusing for the client if they booked the car and they see a per day price that doesn’t match the total of their order if their reservation crosses over two price ranges, that’s why i said maybe it’s best to leave the per day price out in the cart and just have the total.

Unfortunately this booking is not quite adapted to seasonal prices And we have encountered problems and are trying to solve them for a whole week . In fact, I am not quite sure that we will be able to do this and provide for all the price options . Thanks

Well, the vehicles page isn’t working now, I don’t know why. But I made an export through WordPress and we have daily backups of the whole server so please proceed with this. I hope we won’t have any issues 🙂
One question please, is there a way to set an order for the vehicles to show up in the vehicle listing page? We would like them to show up in a specific order, right now they’re showing with the order that they are in the wordpress admin in the Autos section.
I tried to change the order field but it doesn’t reflect on the front end.
Another bug: I can’t seem to set more than 5 periods for special pricing. We have pricing per month roughly and I can’t seem to set 6 periods, it only takes 5.
