I have downloaded and installed correctly in the theme on my wordpress.org (cms loaded manually and not with hosting tools), I installed and activated all plug in (required and recommended). When I try to do the import of demo content I get errors (see attachment 1) I also tried to do the manual import but I always get the same error. The parameters of my server are optimal (see attachment 2) (parameters of my server: max_execution_time 360, memory_limit 1GB, post_max_size 150M, upload_max_filesize 150M).
I enclose an error log (attachment 3).
Many parts of the theme do not work or work badly:
1 Vehicles Body Types doesn’t work(you can’t see anything) and if I try to insert new images (in Body Style) the page becomes all white from that point on until the footer.
2 The search form does not display the Vehicle Body Tabs.
3 when you open the homepage the slider appears shifted to the left off-screen leaving a white space on the right (see attachment 4) and only when I switch from one browser window to another is corrected.
Help me please!
I’m sorry you’re confused but WordPress.com platform works more like a website builder . Please read this article . To work with theme on CMS WordPress.org , you need to use third-party hosting like Godaddy or Bluehost.
Thank you for your reply, however, I know very well the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.com and I have always worked with wordpress.org. However I specified this information because on the support of the plugin One Click Demo Import I read that the problem of import could also be due to the use of tools provided by provaider for the installation of wordpress (which I did not use having installed it manually).
In any case, the problem is not the type of wordpress I use but to understand why the import of demo content does not work well and then the theme has errors.
Please try to do this on another independent hosting and if there are problems , we will help . Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with help with wordpress org as it has many limitations. Thanks
