Another problem is that “Headers” texts in Elementor do not appear to be translated when applying the WPML translation editor, nor in text strings.

Disable the Advanced Translation Editor in WPML → Settings.

Before creating a page translation, disable “WPML Translation Editor” in the page properties. Then click “+” to create a translation. The page will be duplicated and you will be able to translate it in Elementor.
After adding the translation, you will have buttons available in the sidebar on the right to clone content from the main language. As a result, you will get a clone of the main page content in Elementor, which you can translate, change some photos if they contain text, etc.
If you have already tried to create a translation without disabling this option (you see “gears” instead of the “plus” button), then refer to the WPML documentation on how to cancel the previous translation.

The theme is not compatible with advanced editor. Classic editor is more intuitive and universal, any third-party widgets are compatible with it, and you can also change pictures if they contain text.

With this question, you need to contact the WPML support service. Or create a new Footer and copy the content from the current Footer there. You will initially edit it in classic mode and everything will work as it should.

We recommend using the Loco translate plugin for theme built-in phrases translation (https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners). All phrases in the theme can be translated into any language. You should translate the theme and the theme core plugin.
Choose the “System” folder for translation location in Loco Translate plugin to prevent translations from being deleted when updating the theme.
WPML also recommends using this plugin because Loco Translate uses the .pot theme dictionary.
