Hi,
I have followed the required steps in adding the API and resources required and I can see the map on PLACES page but not on the edit page.
I look at the console and I get a “Referer Not Allowed Map Error”
I have tried both setting the api RESTRICTED to only HTTP referrers and none but both result in the same error message.
Can you please assist.

Okay.
Google have said that it seems like the theme or plugin has a hardcoded API and that is why on the edit page it is not working.
This is what they said
“I have had experience with some themes and plugins where the developers leave their API keys hard coded in the app, so if that is the case then you’ll need to contact them for further troubleshooting. Your key is restricted properly and should have no issues working on that page. Unfortunately this also means that we won’t be able to do much more from our end of things.”
Can you please look at resolving this.
Thanks
Yeah that was a places page that came with the theme, but all new places pages do not have that.
The error message is on the edit places page so we are unable to add the address for the map to then show up.
Thanks
Unfortunately, the problem is not clear . Thanks
On the WordPress dashboard, if i add a place, the Google Map API isn’t working. Therefore, I can’t add the address.
