Hello.
I have the aucapina theme installed on my WordPress website. www.rentwillowtree.comI need a little help understanding how the catalog feature is integrated with woocommerce. I built my catalog, but I see that woocommerce also offers the products tab, but it doesn’t look like that is used for this theme. What is the “booking” item under products in woocommerce for this theme? Does it have anything to do with the items added to the catalog area? There can be two independent catalogs on the site: rental products and woocommerce products:

https://parkofideas.com/aucapina/demo/shop/
But they have a common Cart and Checkout.
How is the catalog integrated with woocommerce? Is the catalog a plugin? If so, what is the plugin called?

The rental catalog is a part of the Aucapina theme. The main code for the functioning of the catalog is located in the Aucapina Theme Functionality plugin.
When booking, a special Woocommerce product “Booking” is added to the Woocommerce cart with custom meta data where the booking parameters are saved. Woocommerce is used for shopping cart and checkout. After the order has been placed, the dates of the order are recorded in the calendar. Is a special Woocommerce product “Booking” added after EACH booking? Or is the same product “booking” used repeatedly?
One permanent product with custom meta data with information about booking.
Currently I have two “booking” products. I believe they are both from the demo content I imported, because I don’t recall adding a second one. However, it only looks like the most recent one is handling both of my catalog items? Can you login with the credentials I provided you and check that?
Also, would it be possible for each catalog item to have it’s own booking product? Or is it necessary for all catalog items to go to a single booking product?
Thanks!
The theme uses only one product for booking. The second one is unnecessary. It’s hard for me to say after what actions the extra product appeared.
Regarding the second question – the theme only works with one product, there is no way to create a separate product for each item of the rental catalog. Please duplicate the site access parameters in this thread.
So would it be ok to delete the second product for booking? The one that doesn’t actually have my catalog tied to it?
What do you mean by “please duplicate the site access parameters in this thread”?

Yes, but first we need to figure out which one is used for booking. That’s why we asked you for access to the backend.
