We have the problem, if the customer chooses one bike and the ist directed to the cart, there is the option “Book one more bike”. And if the customer uses the search for the same date the same bike is shown as available – although it is already in the cart and not available anymore for this date. If the try now to checkout the system gives them the message that this bike is not available at that date although the search said it is.
How can we solve this?

You must be logged in to view attached files.The bike is reserved in the calendar only after checkout. But there is no problem, the client will not be able to send an order with two bicycles on the same date, an error will be displayed. You are protected from overbooking.
Maybe I was not clear enough about what the problem is. I know that I’m protected from overbooking, but it would be great that the customer is also protected from search results that are not available. Because now we have the problem that the customers are canceling the orders and contacting us via email, they can’t book a bike although it is shown as available in the search.
So it would be great if a bike/item is already in the cart of a customer for a certain date that it is not displayed anymore in the search results for this date. Otherwise, we have a lot of unsatisfied customers.
My question is: Is it possible to add code to prevent the search to show bikes that are in the cart as available?
