Dear Alex,
I assume that the pre-defined “contact” form has 2 errors (see attachment 1) or this snippet.
[email* your-email placeholder “hone” ]<i class=”icon icon-call-end”>1st I thought that I did something wrong but the error is on the online demo page as well. (see 2nd attachment)I tried to use this…[tel* your-phone placeholder “Phone” ]<i class=”icon icon-call-end”>but when I put tel/your phone into, the layout will be destroyed.https://support.templines.com/knowledge-base/form/ is good hint that phone should be used. Please adviseBest regards, JoachimAttachments:

Hi Alex,
the problem ist that the template looks like this and should deal with phone – see wordpress image of the contact form.
<span style=”color: #4b4d4d; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefef0;”> [<strong style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefef0;”>email* your-email<span style=”color: #4b4d4d; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefef0;”> placeholder “<strong style=”box-sizing: border-box; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefef0;”><em style=”box-sizing: border-box;”>hone<span style=”color: #4b4d4d; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, ‘Helvetica Neue’, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; background-color: #fefef0;”>” ]
With “email* your-email” the right validation can not take place – and “hone” is a typo.
I tried to change it to
[tel<strong style=”box-sizing: border-box;”>* your-phone placeholder “Phone”In this case I loose the css style .
The error is also on your demo site, shown with chrome debugger mode image
Thanks & Best regards, Joachim

Hi Alex,
thanks for the hint and yes, text helps in the layout issue.
