Hi, I am trying to modify the main header on my page, so far with success, but today I came across an issue I am unable to solve. I started using a bigger logo, and the main menu moved to the right, but now is conflicting with the search button.
When I edit right and left padding values in
.main-menu .navbar-nav > li > a {
font-family: ‘Montserrat’;
font-weight: 700;
color: #000000;
text-transform: uppercase;
padding: 0px 15px 0px 15px;
line-height: 16px;
}
for example with 14px and 14px, it moves to the top of the page with 0 padding-top. But then, when I edit the padding top, the items in the menu moves, but the separators stay at the top of the page. Why is this? How am I able to fix this?
Thank you! So far I like your template very much!
I am including a screenshot of the site as an attachment and login items in private content. Do you need anything else? FTP access?
Thanks again!

One more question tho.
I just got an instruction from my boss, if it would be possible to do it like on the picture that I’m adding as an attachment. I thought it would be a simple matter of adding a header picture (background), but when I do that, it cuts it like in the second screenshot I’m including. I know the sketch does not look exactly good but I hope it does get the message across 🙂
Is there any simple way to do this? Thank you for your support!
