I would like to highlight a page when it is active. I’ve got this to work with regular pages but am having difficulty getting it to work with the main page when their are submenues. For example on http://pix-theme.org/wordpress/health/services/heart-center/ which is Departments > Heart Center, when the page is active, I have the Hear Center background blue. How can I make the main parent menu item (Departments) blue has well?
Please disregard, I figured this one out.
For anyone else, this worked for me:
/* Parent Menu */
.header .top-nav ul#main-menu li.current-menu-ancestor {
background-color: #2986e2;
}
/* Child Menus */
.header .top-nav ul#main-menu li.current-menu-item {
background-color: #2986e2;
}
