Hi team-
When using the Quick Search widget on the website we are provided no results for any of the timeframes, nor types. We do not have any rentals booked for November at this current moment, however, no results appear to be available.
Please help!
Private Content HiddenI went through our WooCommerce area and canceled all of the orders (w/o notifying customers.) I was then able to see the rentals in the Quick Search widget.
My new question is what’s wrong with our settings that are making the rentals act as if they are one-time purchases? Once a rental is reserved, the ability to book that rental goes away e.g. Reservation #1: ALLOWED; time frame request “October 2020” > Reservation #2: NOT ALLOWED; timeframe requested “July 30th – Aug 2nd 2020.”
Hi!
I can’t figure out what the problem is. Can you describe it in more detail on a specific vehicle? And give us access to the admin panel so that we can see the bookingsHi Alexey,
When we first launched the website on the Renroll theme, prospects were able to rent our RVs. The reason we chose this theme was that it was playful and had the rent (not buy) functionality. We did not want to buy the additional software (Booking) from WooCommerce.
Currently, when a prospect navigates to our website home page or Rent page > Quick Search > TYPE| PICKUP DATE| RETURN DATE > they will be prompted with our “available” rentals. Yesterday they could search any date or type and no results would appear. The reason the inventory is visible now is because I had to cancel all orders on WooCommerce (I disabled notifications to our customers.)
The Catalog and WooCommerce are treating these rentals as a purchase not a rental. I discovered this yesterday by “renting” the 2019 Thor Chateau 22B for 11/01/2020 – 11/06/2020 (Order #15631.) Then, without canceling the order, I attempted to “rent” the same 22B unit for this weekend (7/31-8/2.) However, I was unable to rent the 22B because all dates were made unavailable. Additionally, the blue-highlight indicator covered the #15631 order from November – March. So essentially, we are “holding” the unit until order #15631 is filled in November.
Today we received a rental request for the 2016 Sunseeker 2650D for 8/10/20-8/17/20 (order #15637.) If, as a prospect, you navigate to the Rent > 2016 Sunseeker > Request Reservation, you will find that the unit is unavailable to rent again until December 2020.
Private Content HiddenPurchase in Woocommerce is booking for a certain period of a specific RV. But if you want the RV to still be available for ordering on the same dates, you can enable the option “Unlimited booking”: https://monosnap.com/file/QqsX62e2oS9lSLMJti33D5fjEs8hbP
