Hi!
Ive have a newly installed and clean WordPress website with SSL enabled. The default theme is Twenty Twenty and my url shows secure.
After uploading Autlines theme via WordPress and activating it, my website suddenly shows a “Not secure” message in Chrome and Firefox (in Safari the “lock” in the url just disappears), even though SSL is activated and my website is accessible via https.
If i change the theme back to “Twenty Twenty” theme, then the “Not secure” message disappears and my website shows its secure again.
It also did not matter if i used Autlines Child Theme or not, both showed a Not secure message.
It also did not matter if i had my Autlines theme activated (with purchase key) or not. When I saw the “Not secure” message after activation and with demo content, I removed the entire WordPress installation and then did a new and clean WordPress installation.
Hi
Please activate the theme and import the demo content . After importing, you will need to adapt all links to HTTPS .
Thanks
Hi Alex,
Thank you for your reaction. I know how to activate the theme and import the demo content, seeing as I did that before too; so I will do it now.
What exactly do you mean with “you will need to adapt all links to https”? How do i do that?
Please check this article .
If you do not have the knowledge, we can do it for you on a paid basis .
Thanks
