Update Issues: Child theme not installed on setting up

Forgot to create Child theme while I started to play with this theme. Want keep site updated but not spending whole day editing it over and over, when updating. Alex, is there any way how to fix it for good? Tried to google it, but there is no general step by step manual how to do it. Or if it is, could you please direct me? thx a lot! Zee.

Could you please give me a chance and read my post again?

When I purchased your theme, I made a mistake and had not create Child theme out of Aucapina. I made Child theme a bit later, when I already made multiple changes to the Parent theme. I don’t want to lose customization when I would update Aucapina theme.

Is there any chance I can fix for the future updates? Avoid losing customization?
